Our research is focused on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms of anesthetic actions. We hope that a better understanding of the fundamental effects of anesthetics on the brain will aid in developing safer and more specific anesthetic agents, while minimizing toxicity of existing ones. We are located on Manhattan's Upper East Side and welcome applications and collaborations from those who share our vision.
